Pekanbaru, July 7th, 2025 – The Faculty of Health Technology at Institut Kesehatan dan Teknologi Al Insyirah (IKTA) proudly presents the annual international program titled Al Insyirah International Education Activities (ALINEA) 2025. The event takes place from July 7th to 11th, 2025, in Riau Province, Indonesia, featuring both academic and cultural exchange activities.

This year, ALINEA 2025 welcomes students from Politeknik Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah (PSA), Malaysia, to collaborate with IKTA students. The main academic focus of the program is training and community service in medical device testing and calibration, specifically aimed at enhancing practical skills for students in the electromedical technology field. Participants will also engage in an industrial visit to PT Digital Kalibrasi Hebat and conduct hands-on service at RSUD Tengku Rafian Hospital in Siak.

Beyond the academic agenda, ALINEA 2025 introduces the richness of Riau’s culture and heritage. The participants will explore Siak Sri Indrapura, visit the historic Siak Palace, cruise along the Siak River, and experience local culinary delights. These activities are designed to promote cultural understanding and strengthen bilateral relations between Indonesia and Malaysia, especially in the education and health technology sectors.
During the opening ceremony, the Rector of IKTA emphasized that ALINEA is part of the institution’s internationalization efforts, aligning with IKTA’s vision to become a distinguished and globally recognized institute. “Through ALINEA, students not only gain technical knowledge but also build networks, appreciate cultural diversity, and broaden their global perspectives,” the Rector stated.

A total of 20 students are participating in ALINEA 2025, consisting of 10 students from PSA Malaysia and 10 from IKTA. Each group is tasked with preparing reports on medical device calibration, producing creative video blogs, and performing collaborative cultural presentations during the closing event. Awards will be given for the best team performance, the best vlog, and the most outstanding participants.
ALINEA 2025 is supported by various stakeholders, including the Siak Regency Government, the Malaysian Consulate in Pekanbaru, PT Digital Kalibrasi Hebat, and regional banks such as Bank Riau Kepri, Bank Syariah Indonesia, and Bank Muamalat.
Through this program, the Faculty of Health Technology at IKTA aims to foster continuous international collaboration and prepare graduates with adaptive global competencies in electromedical technology and healthcare innovation. (Red/Rino)
